Apheresis (blood washing) is considered a means of health prevention as well as a clinically proven therapeutic option.

INUSpheresis® as Environmental Apheresis®
We are exposed to toxic stresses on a daily basis. Once in our system, toxins bound to proteins or fats negatively affect our health. This affects everyone.
Likewise, malformed autoimmune antibodies and inflammatory mediators can form in our body, which burden our organism.
This is exactly where INUSpheresis® comes in and effectively purges us of this dangerous burden in the long term by means of differentiated blood washing.

INUSpheresis® as a therapy option
The therapeutic mode of action of INUSpheresis® is based on the principle of discharge. Substances that promote disease and inflammation are washed out of the blood.
In addition, INUSpheresis® also reduces inflammatory mediators such as CRP or TNF-alpha.
Thus, INUSpheresis® does not rely on the use of "anti" drugs like classical therapies, but on the targeted filtering and removal of disease-promoting factors.

State-of-the-art technology in INUSpheresis®
INUSpheresis® is a milestone of innovative high-tech medicine.
Apheresis is a method in which specific components are precisely removed from the blood outside the body using special equipment.
Own blood components that have not been eliminated are returned to the patient’s bloodstream.
In INUSpheresis®, as a highly differentiated multicomponent apheresis, the plasma is first separated from other blood components in the INUS Separator.
The contaminants are then specifically separated from the plasma in further filtrations and separated into an eluate that can be further analyzed later for diagnostic purposes.
After being combined with the retained blood components, the purified plasma is returned to the body as purified whole blood.
INUSpheresis® includes various types of removal of harmful polluting substances from the blood outside the body by DFPP (double membrane filtration plasmapheresis). It is in no way to be equated with dialysis!
The "intelligent membrane" does not simply remove urinary substances but specifically removes a variety of harmful problematic substances (malformed autoimmune antibodies, inflammatory mediators, toxic substances bound to proteins or fats, etc.).

From apheresis to INUSpheresis®
The term apheresis is derived from the Greek word for "taking away.
As early as the beginning of the 20th century, the first plasmaphereses were carried out on animals for research purposes, where blood was taken and the washed erythrocytes reintroduced.
Against the background of Minamata disease (chronic mercury poisoning), which first appeared in the mid-1950s in the Japanese city of Minamata, the first therapeutic approaches based on blood purification were developed.
Modern cascade filtration (or double filtration, membrane differential filtration) was then first described in Japan in 1980 by Y. Agishi et al.
Apheresis methods have been continuously developed and are, for example, an established curative procedure for genetic lipid disorders (familial disorder of lipid metabolism, lipids/cholesterol).
A major innovation is the INUSpheresis® developed in Germany by the INUS Group, led by a proven specialist, Dr. Richard Straube, MD.
Based on broad experience with therapeutic apheresis, versatile application possibilities could be rediscovered and analyzed there in recent years with this procedure and thus new treatment approaches for chronic diseases could be developed in the present time.
The blood purification procedure of INUSpheresis® was scientifically developed to permanently eliminate deposited toxins and chronic inflammations from the body quickly and quasi without side effects.
